I called the guy from InsulMax today to give us a quote for insulating the inner walls. It's an older house, and it although the ceiling is fully insulated, the walls and the underfloor area hasn't been done. Always worth getting a quote to see if it's worth it. He'll come round in a couple of days.
The recycling got picked up today, so that system seems to be working. There's a couple of things they don't take, so the system is a bit different here. Notably, glass is not recycled here, so that will have to go in the normal bin instead.
A further few phonecalls to the lawyer to organise our Last Will & Testament, which somehow always seems to be low priority, and to another plumber to see if they'll do bigger jobs, for when we have a better plan for the bathroom area. Brent Howell Plumbing was recommended by one of the neighbours, so always good to shop around.
As a final step in closing off the Johnsonville tennancy, I finished off the paperwork for the return of the bond. Everything is more work than it looks - I had to set up the printer again first, and to do that I had to clear a space for it, etc. All done now.
