Today the electrician made an appearance, and fixed my light. I'd replaced all the bulbs in the house with LED "bulbs" a while ago, and in the process the ligh in my room stopped working. Turns out it was a faulty lightsocket, so nothing I could have done myself. Nice to have a bright room again!
There's going to be some busy days ahead. I've got a ton of projects to get on with, so let's see how many I can finish in the next month.
I organised the rubbish collection today as well. Dannevirke's council doesn't pick up rubbish anymore, just the weekly recycling, so an other company comes in from Palmerston North every two weeks and empties our wheeliebin. We have more rubbish right now than usual, so that's going to be a tightrope for the next few cycles. We'll manage though!
In between, I also managed to fill a prescription at the local pharmacy, deposit some cash at the bank, and even got the washing done. A house-husband's work is never done, it seems.
